This curated dinner series seeks to preserve Black traditions of gathering and community, as well as healing practices, agricultural traditions and food ways.
Your attendance supports the Praise House Project efforts to install the Praise House structure at South-View Cemetery in South-Atlanta where it will honor the victims of the 1906 Atlanta Race Massacre who rest alongside over 80,000 of our ancestors.
We are excited for your attendance!

Charmaine Minniefield draws from indigenous traditions as seen throughout Africa and the Diaspora to explore African and African-American history, memory, and ritual as an intentional push back against erasure. Her creative practice is community-based as her research and resulting bodies of work often draw from public archives.
